Exspider

The Exspider is activated in the anterior segment and hinged in the molar area. The appliance is usually anchored to first molars bands and is ideal for the patient with enough molar width and a tapered arch. It can also be used in some cleft palate patients with sufficient room for the screw. The screw is capable of 9-millimeter expansion.
