Crowned Expander

The Dischinger Crown Expander uses crowns on the first molars for anchorage. The crowns supply anchorage and slightly open the bite to help expansion. The 12-millimeter Mini Palex is a standard activation screw. The crowns can be placed on the deciduous second molars if the first molars are not erupted.
