MDA

The MDA appliance offers a hygienic alternative to the Pendex. The appliance utilizes a twelve-millimeter expansion screw with sheaths laser welded to it. This allows the clinician to reactivate the appliance during treatment for additional distalization. The expansion phase is completed prior to starting the distalization phase. Rest or bands are utilized for additional anchorage.
