Specialty Appliances is proud to announce our new Custom Mini-screw Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion service. The service uses state of the art software to custom design the MARPE according to your preferences. Once designed we will send to you for approval before we start the 3-D printing process. The entire appliances is 3-D printed except for the archwire tubes and expansion screw. The appliances will come with the Tyger™ Power Screws™. The Power screw comes in 8, 10-, 12-, 14-, and 016-mm expansion sizes. We will select the largest screw possible to fit in the patient’s palate. The appliance becomes the surgical stint for the TAD’s second process.
