JI Williams

The JI Williams uses tubing on the lingual surface of the lower posterior teeth. A .016-inch round NiTi wire is placed in the tubing to keep the lower anterior teeth rounded and inclined. An 8-millimeter expansion screw is soldered to the tubing at the first bicuspid area. Rests are then soldered from the tubing to the second bicuspids or second deciduous molars.
