Pendex

The Pendex is like the Pendulum apart from an expansion screw used for transverse expansion and molar distalization. This results in greater overall arch development with the appliance. If the second molars are fully erupted, it is recommended that these be distalized first to achieve maximum efficiency in molar distalization.
