SRS Design

We make a wide variety of splints. The Flat Plane, Brux, SRS, and Deprogramming splints are our most popular.

Simply send us your design and instructions, and we can make your splints.

We like to turn all of our appliances around in two weeks. This is two weeks from date of impression to the date of delivery.

We have a variety of colors available for all acrylics with the exception of the Clear splint and vacuum formed acrylics. Please refer to the color guide for details.

Specialty Appliances™ offers Variflex and Clear splint material.

The Variflex is a soft liner added to the tooth surface area of the splint and is covered in a hard outer shell. The material is heat-activated and compensates for excessive undercuts.

The Clear splint is a unique and slightly pliable material that also allows for excessive undercuts.

Specialty Appliances™ offers the Denar Mark IV, SAM II, SAM III, Panadent, and Artex articulators. All splints are mounted on adjustable articulators.

Wax bites will help reduce chair time delivery. Wax bites should reflect the anterior-posterior and vertical dimension desired.

We can mount the models in a plasterless articulator and construct a wax bite for your cases. However, more chair time will be spent on making adjustments.

Add Adams, Delta, Ball, Arrow, or "C" clasps to any splint.

We have other retention alternatives if you need, so please call us for details.

We make vacuum-formed splints in thicknesses from 1 to 3 millimeters.

We also have dual (soft / hard) type vacuum-formed splints.

Anything we add to a retainer, we can add to your splint.

We can add finger springs, expansion screws, clasps, acrylic colors, and decals to splints if you'd like.
