What do I need to send for an invisible retainer case?

The answer

Please provide complete anterior and posterior anatomy for the arch or arches receiving a retainer. If you’re ordering a retainer for only one arch, the opposing arch is generally not required.

The exception is when ordering an upper invisible retainer along with a lower fixed lingual retainer (FLR). In this case, we strongly recommend providing both arches so we can evaluate for potential occlusal interference with the FLR.

We strongly recommend removing all wires and bands before taking a scan or impression. If they need to be removed by our lab, an additional fee will apply.
