What should I tell patients about wearing their iFinisher?

The answer

Full time for the first two days apart from eating and brushing. Teeth are most receptive to the iFinisher right after aligners finish or brackets come off. From day three, for the next two to three weeks, aim for 12 hours a day: a minimum of four daytime hours plus sleeping hours. Those four daytime hours can be broken into increments as small as 20 minutes. Daytime wear matters because the patient consciously bites into the appliance, which makes it roughly eight times more effective than nighttime wear. We publish a patient handout covering all of this that you can print and give out at delivery.
