Orthometric Distal Cutting Pliers

Orthometric Distal Cutting Pliers have active tips angled around their main axis and are used to cut the distal end of an archwire inside the oral cavity.

Because of their angle, they facilitate the approximation of the distal part of the tube. In addition, they permit cutting and holding the distal wire end at the same time, preventing the wire from getting lost in the mouth or flying into tissue.

They are recommended for use with wires up to 0.021” x 0.025”.
